Net als filosofieleerlingen bovenbouw van andere middelbare scholen, is Mirte Dophemont via haar docent op het Theresialyceum, mevrouw Kriele, uitgedaagd om mee te doen aan de jaarlijkse wedstrijd om de titel Jonge Denker des Vaderlands. De bedoeling is dan om een column te schrijven over het thema voor de komende Maand van de Filosofie.
