De politie in Dongen hield woensdagavond drie jongens van dertien en veertien aan, omdat ze verdacht worden van brandstichting. Een vierde jongen raakte zwaargewond en werd met de traumahelikopter naar het ziekenhuis gebracht.
De politie denkt dat de brand rond half 9 ‘s avonds werd aangestoken. Hoe het slachtoffer vervolgens gewond raakte, is nog niet bekend. De politie onderzoekt hoe dit heeft kunnen gebeuren. Ze houdt er rekening mee dat het gaat om een ongeluk.
