GILZE EN RIJEN – Burgemeester Derk Alssema van de gemeente Gilze en Rijen heeft besloten dat een appartement aan de Abdis van Thornstraat in Gilze voor drie maanden lang op slot moet. Vorige maand werd in de woning 400 gram hennep en een onbekende hoeveelheid cocaïne gevonden.
Met de sluiting wil de burgemeester een einde maken aan de drugsoverlast vanuit het appartement. Omwonenden zijn per brief geïnformeerd over het besluit.
