MOERGESTEL – Wielrenner Danny van Poppel is opgenomen in de selectie voor het WK Wielrennen in Qatar. Dit heeft de KNWU vanmiddag bekend gemaakt via Twitter.
De wegwedstrijd voor mannen zal gereden worden op zondag 16 oktober in Dohna, de hoofdstad van Qatar. Danny van Poppel is niet de enige Brabander die geselecteerd is. Ook Koen de Kort uit Liempde mag deelnemen aan de wedstrijd om de regenboogtrui.
