De omgeving van de Leharstraat in Tilburg Noord is woensdagmiddag afgezet. In een van de huizen zou een gaskraan opengedraaid zijn. De hulpdiensten zijn in groten getale aanwezig.
Het is nog onduidelijk wat er precies aan de hand is. Er zijn politieauto’s, een ambulance en meerdere voertuigen van de brandweer aanwezig. Ook komt er een rechercheteam ter plaatse.
Door een seinstoring rijden tussen station Tilburg en Den Bosch de rest van deze woensdagmiddag geen treinen op dat traject. Volgens NS houdt de storing in ieder geval tot 19:00 uur aan.
