In Tilburg woedde zondagmorgen een grote brand in een woonwijk. Een woning aan de Kolveniersstraat brandde helemaal uit en daarbij is een dode gevallen. Om wie het gaat kan een politiewoordvoerder nog niet zeggen. Inmiddels is de brand onder controle. Hoe de brand is ontstaan, is nog niet bekend.
De brandweer sloeg groot alarm om te voorkomen dat het vuur over zou slaan naar andere woningen. Dat is niet gebeurd. De schade aan de aangrenzende woningen blijkt minimaal, aldus Omroep Brabant.
