Een man in een scootmobiel is aangereden door een trein op het station in Rijen. De man raakte maandagochtend rond 11.00 uur ernstig gewond en de hulpdiensten kwamen snel ter plaatse.
De betrokken trein is na de aanrijding doorgereden, maar het treinverkeer rondom Rijen ligt voorlopig stil. Of de sneeuw op het perron de oorzaak van de aanrijding was, is niet bekend.
