TILBURG – Donderdagochtend 4 maart is een vrouw overvallen in haar woning aan de Predikherenlaan. De twee daders zijn op de vlucht geslagen.
Inmiddels is bekendgemaakt dat de overvallers rond halfzeven uur ‘s ochtends de woning van de vrouw zijn binnengedrongen. Er is niemand gewond geraakt, ook is nog niet duidelijk of er iets buit is gemaakt. De politie doet nu onderzoek.
De brandweer van Rijen is woensdagmiddag rond half twee uitgerukt voor een beginnende bosbrand aan de Atalanta. Omwonenden grepen snel in en wisten de vlammen al voor een groot deel te doven.
Na acht jaren komt er een einde aan de Vrijthof-Vrijthof Challenge in Hilvarenbeek. Organisatoren Willem en Mark van Abeelen maakten vandaag met pijn in hun hart bekend dat er geen vierde editie zal plaatsvinden.
