Een tankwagen heeft vanmiddag aan de Hermesstraat in Tilburg zoutzuur gelekt. Het gaat volgens een woordvoerder van de Veiligheidsregio Midden- en West-Brabant om ‘een klein spoortje’.
Op foto’s van de situatie is een behoorlijke plas te zien. De brandweer is met zes wagens aanwezig om de boel op te ruimen. Er raakte niemand gewond, meldt Omroep Brabant.
In een woning aan de Slipjachtpad in Tilburg heeft de politie een drugslab ontdekt. Drie mensen zijn woensdagavond aangehouden.
De brandweer van Rijen is woensdagmiddag rond half twee uitgerukt voor een beginnende bosbrand aan de Atalanta. Omwonenden grepen snel in en wisten de vlammen al voor een groot deel te doven.
Na acht jaren komt er een einde aan de Vrijthof-Vrijthof Challenge in Hilvarenbeek. Organisatoren Willem en Mark van Abeelen maakten vandaag met pijn in hun hart bekend dat er geen vierde editie zal plaatsvinden.
