Een auto is vrijdagmiddag rond halftwee het water in gereden bij de Hoevense Kanaaldijk in Tilburg. Omstanders zagen dat gebeuren. De bestuurder is overleden, dat bevestigt de politie.
Hulpdiensten hebben nog geprobeerd om het slachtoffer te reanimeren, maar zonder succes, meldt Omroep Brabant.
Er zaten geen andere mensen in de auto.
