Er zou in de nacht van zaterdag op zondag een explosie plaats hebben gevonden in een woning aan de Donizettistraat in Tilburg. Er raakte niemand gewond.
Wel was er brand. Toen de politie ter plaatse kwam, was deze al geblust door de bewoners en buren. De politie heeft buurtonderzoek gedaan en doet nog verder onderzoek naar de situatie.
De drinkwatervoorziening in Tilburg en omgeving loopt geen gevaar meer. Dit komt door afspraken die zijn gemaakt tussen Brabant Water, de provincie, het Brabants Landschap en de Brabantse Milieu Federatie (BMF).
