In verband met een achtergelaten tas worden perron 2 en 3 van station Tilburg ontruimd. Er rijden tijdelijk geen treinen van en naar Tilburg.
De politie laat weten dat specialisten onderweg zijn. In verband met de veiligheid stopt het treinverkeer van en naar station Tilburg tijdelijk. Wat er in de tas zit, is nog onduidelijk.

De Afrikaanse nimmerzat die uit safaripark Beekse Bergen was ontsnapt en zondagavond in Tilburg werd gespot, is inmiddels weer veilig terug in het safaripark. Dat laat Beekse Bergen maandag weten.

Bij een ernstig ongeluk op de A58 bij knooppunt Galder zijn maandagochtend een volwassene en twee kinderen zwaargewond geraakt. De A58 is daarom dicht tussen knooppunt Sint Annabosch en knooppunt Galder richting Breda.
